Three of the many articles about the governments 125.8 million plan to block hundreds of thousands of "illegal" internet sites, that would cripple internet speeds by 30 to 90%. Very stupid thing for Kevin Rudd to do. Australia would be the only western country to have a internet site blocking system. I'm sure there would be a massive protest. It would be a lot easier and cheaper to just make parents buy blocking systems. I once read a book (called Fahrenheit 451) that was set in the future, and it was about the government burning all the books to stop people gaining any knowledge about what goes on, which would stop protests, illegal activity, etc. This reminds me of it.
